Seafleas - Race Boats come in all Shapes and Sizes

We at the Canadian Race Boat Hall of Fame know that Canada's boat racing future resides in the hands and hearts of our young enthusiasts. This weekend on Gull Lake in Gravenhurst, the very young (and the young at heart) will put their all into chasing the dream of beating the best while learning the life lessons that boat racing has to teach... and having a ton of fun too.
CRHF, working with Muskoka Seaflea, will be able to put tools and materials into the hands of young boat builders and their families once the Canadian Raceboat Hall of Fame opens in mid 2024. Imagine putting down the smart phone in favour of saws, drills and screws, and feeling a dream come to life in your hands... it could be a first step into the making of another Canadian boat racing legend.
Check out this short video created by Chris Taylor that documents his son's stepping up the racing ladder two weeks ago in Tweed, Ontario. Thanks also to the Toronto Outboard Racing Club whose members are as committed to helping someone's daughter or son experience the exhilaration of racing as they are to winning a race or two themselves this season.
